Welcome to the M.A.D projects projects! We principally support causes where the beneficiaries are given the tools or support to help them build a better future, for themselves, their communities , the planet and our history. We believe in passing on knowledge, goods as well as funds and support to help build these projects. Our aim is to empower local communities, helping them to develop their own infrastructure for the future. Each project has been researched for it's viability, commitment and effect. ECOAN pour all of their efforts into conservation in the Andes. Over the past 15 years, through a joint effort on their projects they have managed to plant over 1 million trees. The project we principally support with this incredible NGO is reforestation in the the Vilcanota Mountain Range (Cusco) where their objective is to to replant depleted forests of Polylepis and, and thus not only saving endangered species of flora and fauna but assisting the local communities to live sustainably in the area and avoiding further migration to the city where environmentally friendly living is near impossible. More trees, means more forest which means more water and better living environment for them. At MAD we hope this type of project snowballs to all corners of the globe. click for more information

MAWSONS HUTS FOUNDATION Help conserve Australia’s Antarctic Heritage
The Mawson’s Huts Foundation is a not for profit charity which exists solely to conserve the historic fragile huts at Cape Denison, East Antarctic, which was used as the main vase for two years of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (AAE) of 1911-14. Named after the expedition’s leader Sir Douglas Mawson, the buildings are the birthplace of Australia’s Antarctic heritage and are rare as they only one of six that have survived from the heroic era of Antarctic exploration between 1896 and 1916. All cash donations to the Foundation are required to help fund ongoing maintenance and conservation at the remote site. click for more information
